I had Marlin Plumbing Heating & Air come to my home to inspect my hot water heater, which had been making unusual banging and crackling noises. Technician Robert Boatwright was extremely professional and informative. He explained the issue clearly, educated us about our water quality in the Southwest, and walked my wife and me through every step of the service.
The water heater, only 5 years old, was plagued with calcium carbonate and magnesium buildup and a nearly deteriorated anode rod. Robert also discovered that our water softener was part of the problem and took the time to adjust it, even though he originally came for the water heater.
His thoroughness, knowledge, and customer service were outstanding. I know that I will be using Marlin Plumbing again and will definitely be recommending them in the future.

Nathaniel was on time, knowledgeable and efficient with service. I found them through my home warranty service and I was so relieved they an excellent contractor! He answered all my questions, and explained everything. But most Important, my dog loved him. She barks and growls at everybody. Not a peep from her. That’s the best measure of quality individual! Oh my goodness, these guys have been so great. My ancient 31 year old roof top air conditioner finally went out in 105+ temps. Marlin rallied to get us what we needed. Until all special order parts come in, Marlin provided 3 portable A/C units to keep our doggos and us chilled in the interim. 5+ stars so far. Chad, Mike and Ben worked extremely hard under challenging conditions. From rainy weather to dealing with older outdated equipment challenges, they weren’t going away unless it was all perfect and we were thoroughly happy. They spent the time explaining all the warranty info along with future support for any problems we might have. I was encouraged to call anytime if I had questions or problems. Bottom line, just go with Marlin Plumbing, Heating and Air. I guarantee you will be happy. Thank you guys. I couldn’t have asked for better service. It performs and looks wonderful.

In my home search Dan was great to inspect the HVAC systems of the homes I was considering purchasing. This was very important because I was in another state. Once I purchased, Dan and his crew were wonderful to work with. Dan was mindful of the budget when bidding for a complete new HVAC system. I also had them install a PRV to my home to protect my plumbing and appliances. When my HVAC system failed prior to the new system install, Dan was quick to bring over a couple portable AC units saving me from the hottest part of the Summer season. In the installation they were well organized and had my system up and running in a few hours relieving me from the heat of Southern Utah. The men from Marlin Plumbing Heating and Air were amazing!! We had them put in a new Lennox HVAC system for us in the middle of the summer. We have never worked with a company with more integrity or tenacity. They were incredibly hard workers. We couldn’t believe their stamina when working in such extreme heat here in St. George. The project ended up being much more labor intensive than anticipated, but this company wanted to make it right every step of the way. They ended up working many more hours than expected but didn’t charge us one penny more than their bid. My husband and I know if anything were to go wrong with our system, they’d be here within a day to help us out and make things right. Zack tested all the numbers with his diagnostic meter. Our unit froze up due to demand during the triple digit heat. Our filters were too restrictive causing an airflow problem. He explained that we need less restrictive air filters to improve airflow during the summer months. Other than that the unit is running efficiently.
These people are incredibly professional and thorough. They take their time to explain to you the issues and they do a lot of troubleshooting to get to the root of the ac issue. They are extremely committed to good communication even the people that work the office. A pleasure to deal with.
Marlin Plumbing is great to work with! Their customer service is outstanding. We recently had a problem with our water heater and called Marlin. It was later in the afternoons but they made every effort to get the parts needed and to repair the heater that evening. When the parts weren’t available until the following day, Bradden picked up the needed parts and had the repair done before noon. I highly recommend Marlin Plumbing for all your plumbing needs, you won’t be disappointed.
WATER HEATER: The technicians and supervisor are phenomenal. Frontline reception not great. We paid $154 service charge for no hot water, to awaken the next day to the same issue. Receptionist said they are busy with “big jobs” but could get us in within 6 days. It was not until I said we’d go elsewhere and leave a negative review that she offered to call the supervisor to assist. Supervisor called and was more than accommodating. We ended up going with a different plumber who was at the house within an hour. Having owned a business, service starts at the front desk or phone call.
They responded so quickly to my outreach to them. An appointment was established immediately, and they communicated with me regularly to make sure that they understood what was needed and expected. The service man was very prompt in his arrival at our home, very nice and easy to work with, and he did a good professional job, and he did it quickly. It was a great experience, beginning to end!
We had a rental unit that had its water heater go out while tenants were staying there, and it being a holiday weekend we were worried we wouldn't be able to get someone out quickly or for a reasonable price! Well, Marlin saved the day. Nikki was not only responsive and knowledgeable, but their price was fair and realistic. They were able to send someone within 24 hours of our initial call, and the tech reviewed his plan and pricing with us before completing any service. We called Marlin Plumbing with an emergency on a Saturday. We had no hot water. They were the ONLY company out of half a dozen that I called who would come out for a repair on a Saturday. It was a pleasant surprise when Nathaniel called and said he was running early and asked if he would be able to come to our home before the scheduled time. He arrived, quickly determined the problem with our hot water heater, and went to obtain the part he needed. The efficient manner in which he replaced the part and took care of our problem shows that he is very experienced and knowledgeable. He even brought with him a small part for our shower that he had ordered for me two years ago, and I had completely forgotten about it, in spite of messages they had sent to me indicating that the part had arrived. Nathaniel is very personable and friendly, and I'm sure that the apprentice working with him will be well trained!

One of the most reputable companies I have had the pleasure of working for. Their employees consistently demonstrate respect and honesty in all their endeavors. I couldn’t envision myself working anywhere else.

Prior to purchasing a home in Washington, I called Marlin to come and do a tune-up/inspection. The technician (Chad) was extremely thorough and found multiple items not up to code. With his report I was able to negotiate with the seller to pay for everything needed. I then also needed a water softener, a bidet, and a gas line for a fire pit. I got multiple bids for each of these and Marlin was very competitive. They earned all the jobs for everything I needed. And now that they have completed everything I couldn’t be happier. They were on schedule, explained everything, very courteous and conscientious, and left after cleaning everything up. I recommend Marlin for any of your plumbing and HVAC needs.

The control valve on our hot water heater failed Friday afternoon, and we had company coming for the weekend in a couple of hours. We were frantic! Marlin was able to get a tech to our home in a couple of hours, and he quickly diagnosed the problem, picked up the part, and got the part installed. We paid for after hours service, but the price was very reasonable. We couldn't have been happier with the service Marlin provided.

Marlin Plumbing did a fantastic job replacing our water heater. They were professional, punctual, and fast, even with all our stairs he had to take the old one up and the new one down. Didn't rush through the job, but worked efficiently so the whole replacement was pretty quick for such a big task. Took the time to set it up for us and walked me through how to change any settings if we wanted to later on. He explained the pricing clearly along the way and the final charge was exactly what he stated, there were no surpises. Patiently asked if I had any other questions before leaving. This was a Home Warranty claim which usually takes a little longer for a company to perform but not MARLIN PLUMBING. They came out the same day they received the service call. They arrived when they promised they would and fixed the item needing repair quickly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MARLIN PLUMBING!

Marlin plumbing was selected by my home warranty company to replace my water heater. Two guys came and inspected the job and they were very professional. I needed some updates to be in code. I was informed that the home warranty company prefers to order their water heaters so it could be a week or more without hot water. I chose to take the cash from my warranty instead of waiting around. I had another company come out ace replace it the next day.

We had a 20 year old HVAC system when we bought our home. I didn’t want it to fail in the summer in SW Utah. We checked with 5 companies and 2 didn’t bid on the job because of the tight quarters in the attic. We selected Marlin because they offered high quality equipment and service for a competitive price. We had extensive water damage from our 30 yr old water heater. A Marlin rep came to our home promptly. He thoroughly investigated, showed me the issues, and made recommendations. He was not pushy at all. I felt he was very honest.

After draining and removing the old unit, we talked and he put two layers of particle board to fill and strengthen the platform for better support under the new water heater..
Bradden replaced water feed lines and connects, added drip pan and an expansion tank. Adding these two items and a second stability strap, brought the installation up to current codes.
His workmanship and customer service were outstanding. He listened to my concerns and worked to make it all happen and stay within budget.

He added a new dispenser and filter while at the same time rerouting all the plumbing under the sink in a very neat fashion. He also apprised us of a code violation by the contractor who failed to install an Air Break in the discharge line from the icemaker...this could have led to catastrophic health issues had the check valve failed. Will have Marlin do all our plumbing in the future.

Used Merlin because they were my home warranty plumbing company, but since using them for other plumbing upgrades I wouldn’t use anyone else. They are local, family owned, dependable and honest. They would be my first choice should I need a plumber or heating and air.

The gentleman who replaced our water heater was first rate. His estimate was exactly the amount we paid! He completed the removal and installation exactly the length of time he estimated. We got a water softener and washing machine box installed about 6 weeks ago. Our laundry room looks so much better with the box installed and it has been so nice to have the water softener. I will definitely use Marlin Plumbing again next time I need something. They were prompt getting us a quote & doing the work, the bill was exactly as expected, the work was good quality, communication was great, and they even cleaned up after themselves which was impressive…not everyone does that. I also felt their pricing was very good.

Oh my goodness, these guys have been so great. My ancient 31 year old roof top air conditioner finally went out in 105+ temps. Marlin rallied to get us what we needed. Until all special order parts come in, Marlin provided 3 portable A/C units to keep our doggos and us chilled in the interim. 5+ stars so far. Chad, Mike and Ben worked extremely hard under challenging conditions. From rainy weather to dealing with older outdated equipment challenges, they weren’t going away unless it was all perfect and we were thoroughly happy. They spent the time explaining all the warranty info along with future support for any problems we might have. I was encouraged to call anytime if I had questions or problems. Zack tested all the numbers with his diagnostic meter. Our unit froze up due to demand during the triple digit heat. Our filters were too restrictive causing an airflow problem. He explained that we need less restrictive air filters to improve airflow during the summer months. Other than that the unit is running efficiently.
These people are incredibly professional and thorough. They take their time to explain to you the issues and they do a lot of troubleshooting to get to the root of the ac issue. They are extremely committed to good communication even the people that work the office. A pleasure to deal with.

WATER HEATER: The technicians and supervisor are phenomenal. Frontline reception not great. We paid $154 service charge for no hot water, to awaken the next day to the same issue. Receptionist said they are busy with “big jobs” but could get us in within 6 days. It was not until I said we’d go elsewhere and leave a negative review that she offered to call the supervisor to assist. Supervisor called and was more than accommodating. We ended up going with a different plumber who was at the house within an hour. Having owned a business, service starts at the front desk or phone call.
They responded so quickly to my outreach to them. An appointment was established immediately, and they communicated with me regularly to make sure that they understood what was needed and expected. The service man was very prompt in his arrival at our home, very nice and easy to work with, and he did a good professional job, and he did it quickly. It was a great experience, beginning to end!

It was a pleasant surprise when Nathaniel called and said he was running early and asked if he would be able to come to our home before the scheduled time. He arrived, quickly determined the problem with our hot water heater, and went to obtain the part he needed. The efficient manner in which he replaced the part and took care of our problem shows that he is very experienced and knowledgeable. He even brought with him a small part for our shower that he had ordered for me two years ago, and I had completely forgotten about it, in spite of messages they had sent to me indicating that the part had arrived. Prior to purchasing a home in Washington, I called Marlin to come and do a tune-up/inspection. The technician (Chad) was extremely thorough and found multiple items not up to code. Marlin Plumbing did a fantastic job replacing our water heater. They were professional, punctual, and fast, even with all our stairs he had to take the old one up and the new one down. Didn't rush through the job, but worked efficiently so the whole replacement was pretty quick for such a big task. Took the time to set it up for us and walked me through how to change any settings if we wanted to later on. Marlin plumbing was selected by my home warranty company to replace my water heater. Two guys came and inspected the job and they were very professional. I needed some updates to be in code. I was informed that the home warranty company prefers to order their water heaters so it could be a week or more without hot water. I chose to take the cash from my warranty instead of waiting around. I had another company come out ace replace it the next day.

Bradden did an outstanding job of cleaning up the mess left by the contractor's plumber. He added a new dispenser and filter while at the same time rerouting all the plumbing under the sink in a very neat fashion. He also apprised us of a code violation by the contractor who failed to install an Air Break in the discharge line from the icemaker...this could have led to catastrophic health issues had the check valve failed. Will have Marlin do all our plumbing in the future.

Used Merlin because they were my home warranty plumbing company, but since using them for other plumbing upgrades I wouldn’t use anyone else. They are local, family owned, dependable and honest. They would be my first choice should I need a plumber or heating and air.

Another day his brother came out with a new water heater and installed it to perfection as I stayed in the garage with him in case he needed anything or even a soda, etc. he stayed until he know the complete job was done right and everything worked properly. We got a water softener and washing machine box installed about 6 weeks ago. Our laundry room looks so much better with the box installed and it has been so nice to have the water softener. I will definitely use Marlin Plumbing again next time I need something. They were prompt getting us a quote & doing the work, the bill was exactly as expected, the work was good quality, communication was great, and they even cleaned up after themselves which was impressive…not everyone does that. Oh my goodness, these guys have been so great. My ancient 31 year old roof top air conditioner finally went out in 105+ temps. Marlin rallied to get us what we needed. Until all special order parts come in, Marlin provided 3 portable A/C units to keep our doggos and us chilled in the interim. 5+ stars so far. Chad, Mike and Ben worked extremely hard under challenging conditions. From rainy weather to dealing with older outdated equipment challenges, they weren’t going away unless it was all perfect and we were thoroughly happy. They spent the time explaining all the warranty info along with future support for any problems we might have. I was encouraged to call anytime if I had questions or problems. The men from Marlin Plumbing Heating and Air were amazing!! We had them put in a new Lennox HVAC system for us in the middle of the summer. We have never worked with a company with more integrity or tenacity. They were incredibly hard workers. We couldn’t believe their stamina when working in such extreme heat here in St. George. The project ended up being much more labor intensive than anticipated, but this company wanted to make it right every step of the way. They ended up working many more hours than expected but didn’t charge us one penny more than their bid. Zack tested all the numbers with his diagnostic meter. Our unit froze up due to demand during the triple digit heat. Our filters were too restrictive causing an airflow problem. He explained that we need less restrictive air filters to improve airflow during the summer months. Other than that the unit is running efficiently.
These people are incredibly professional and thorough. They take their time to explain to you the issues and they do a lot of troubleshooting to get to the root of the ac issue. They are extremely committed to good communication even the people that work the office. A pleasure to deal with.

It was later in the afternoons but they made every effort to get the parts needed and to repair the heater that evening. When the parts weren’t available until the following day, Bradden picked up the needed parts and had the repair done before noon. WATER HEATER: The technicians and supervisor are phenomenal. Frontline reception not great. We paid $154 service charge for no hot water, to awaken the next day to the same issue. Receptionist said they are busy with “big jobs” but could get us in within 6 days. It was not until I said we’d go elsewhere and leave a negative review that she offered to call the supervisor to assist. Supervisor called and was more than accommodating. We ended up going with a different plumber who was at the house within an hour. Having owned a business, service starts at the front desk or phone call.
They responded so quickly to my outreach to them. An appointment was established immediately, and they communicated with me regularly to make sure that they understood what was needed and expected. The service man was very prompt in his arrival at our home, very nice and easy to work with, and he did a good professional job, and he did it quickly. It was a great experience, beginning to end!

It was a pleasant surprise when Nathaniel called and said he was running early and asked if he would be able to come to our home before the scheduled time. He arrived, quickly determined the problem with our hot water heater, and went to obtain the part he needed. The efficient manner in which he replaced the part and took care of our problem shows that he is very experienced and knowledgeable. He even brought with him a small part for our shower that he had ordered for me two years ago, and I had completely forgotten about it, in spite of messages they had sent to me indicating that the part had arrived. Nathaniel is very personable and friendly, and I'm sure that the apprentice working with him will be well trained!

Prior to purchasing a home in Washington, I called Marlin to come and do a tune-up/inspection. The technician (Chad) was extremely thorough and found multiple items not up to code. With his report I was able to negotiate with the seller to pay for everything needed. I then also needed a water softener, a bidet, and a gas line for a fire pit. I got multiple bids for each of these and Marlin was very competitive. They earned all the jobs for everything I needed. And now that they have completed everything I couldn’t be happier. The control valve on our hot water heater failed Friday afternoon, and we had company coming for the weekend in a couple of hours. We were frantic! Marlin plumbing was selected by my home warranty company to replace my water heater. Two guys came and inspected the job and they were very professional. I needed some updates to be in code. I was informed that the home warranty company prefers to order their water heaters so it could be a week or more without hot water. I chose to take the cash from my warranty instead of waiting around. I had another company come out ace replace it the next day.

He added a new dispenser and filter while at the same time rerouting all the plumbing under the sink in a very neat fashion. He also apprised us of a code violation by the contractor who failed to install an Air Break in the discharge line from the icemaker...this could have led to catastrophic health issues had the check valve failed. Will have Marlin do all our plumbing in the future.

Used Merlin because they were my home warranty plumbing company, but since using them for other plumbing upgrades I wouldn’t use anyone else. They are local, family owned, dependable and honest. They would be my first choice should I need a plumber or heating and air.

The gentleman who replaced our water heater was first rate. His estimate was exactly the amount we paid! He completed the removal and installation exactly the length of time he estimated. We got a water softener and washing machine box installed about 6 weeks ago. Our laundry room looks so much better with the box installed and it has been so nice to have the water softener. I will definitely use Marlin Plumbing again next time I need something. They were prompt getting us a quote & doing the work, the bill was exactly as expected, the work was good quality, communication was great, and they even cleaned up after themselves which was impressive…not everyone does that. I also felt their pricing was very good.

Oh my goodness, these guys have been so great. My ancient 31 year old roof top air conditioner finally went out in 105+ temps. Marlin rallied to get us what we needed. Until all special order parts come in, Marlin provided 3 portable A/C units to keep our doggos and us chilled in the interim. 5+ stars so far. Chad, Mike and Ben worked extremely hard under challenging conditions. From rainy weather to dealing with older outdated equipment challenges, they weren’t going away unless it was all perfect and we were thoroughly happy. They spent the time explaining all the warranty info along with future support for any problems we might have. I was encouraged to call anytime if I had questions or problems. Zack tested all the numbers with his diagnostic meter. Our unit froze up due to demand during the triple digit heat. Our filters were too restrictive causing an airflow problem. He explained that we need less restrictive air filters to improve airflow during the summer months. Other than that the unit is running efficiently.

WATER HEATER: The technicians and supervisor are phenomenal. Frontline reception not great. We paid $154 service charge for no hot water, to awaken the next day to the same issue. Receptionist said they are busy with “big jobs” but could get us in within 6 days. It was not until I said we’d go elsewhere and leave a negative review that she offered to call the supervisor to assist. Supervisor called and was more than accommodating. We ended up going with a different plumber who was at the house within an hour. Having owned a business, service starts at the front desk or phone call.
They responded so quickly to my outreach to them. An appointment was established immediately, and they communicated with me regularly to make sure that they understood what was needed and expected. The service man was very prompt in his arrival at our home, very nice and easy to work with, and he did a good professional job, and he did it quickly. It was a great experience, beginning to end!

It was a pleasant surprise when Nathaniel called and said he was running early and asked if he would be able to come to our home before the scheduled time. He arrived, quickly determined the problem with our hot water heater, and went to obtain the part he needed. The efficient manner in which he replaced the part and took care of our problem shows that he is very experienced and knowledgeable. He even brought with him a small part for our shower that he had ordered for me two years ago, and I had completely forgotten about it, in spite of messages they had sent to me indicating that the part had arrived. Prior to purchasing a home in Washington, I called Marlin to come and do a tune-up/inspection. The technician (Chad) was extremely thorough and found multiple items not up to code. Marlin Plumbing did a fantastic job replacing our water heater. They were professional, punctual, and fast, even with all our stairs he had to take the old one up and the new one down. Didn't rush through the job, but worked efficiently so the whole replacement was pretty quick for such a big task. Took the time to set it up for us and walked me through how to change any settings if we wanted to later on. He explained the pricing clearly along the way and the final charge was exactly what he stated, there were no surpises. Patiently asked if I had any other questions before leaving. Marlin plumbing was selected by my home warranty company to replace my water heater. Two guys came and inspected the job and they were very professional. I needed some updates to be in code. I was informed that the home warranty company prefers to order their water heaters so it could be a week or more without hot water. I chose to take the cash from my warranty instead of waiting around. I had another company come out ace replace it the next day.

Bradden replaced water feed lines and connects, added drip pan and an expansion tank. Adding these two items and a second stability strap, brought the installation up to current codes.
His workmanship and customer service were outstanding. He listened to my concerns and worked to make it all happen and stay within budget.

Bradden did an outstanding job of cleaning up the mess left by the contractor's plumber. He added a new dispenser and filter while at the same time rerouting all the plumbing under the sink in a very neat fashion. He also apprised us of a code violation by the contractor who failed to install an Air Break in the discharge line from the icemaker...this could have led to catastrophic health issues had the check valve failed. Will have Marlin do all our plumbing in the future.

Used Merlin because they were my home warranty plumbing company, but since using them for other plumbing upgrades I wouldn’t use anyone else. They are local, family owned, dependable and honest. They would be my first choice should I need a plumber or heating and air.

Another day his brother came out with a new water heater and installed it to perfection as I stayed in the garage with him in case he needed anything or even a soda, etc. he stayed until he know the complete job was done right and everything worked properly. The gentleman who replaced our water heater was first rate. His estimate was exactly the amount we paid! He completed the removal and installation exactly the length of time he estimated. In addition he was very personable and give us some helpful advise on other plumbing issues, that were unrelated to the problem at hand. Finally he arrived exactly on time. I'm 77 yrs old and a former engineer this was my best experience with a repair person in my entire life.

We got a water softener and washing machine box installed about 6 weeks ago. Our laundry room looks so much better with the box installed and it has been so nice to have the water softener. I will definitely use Marlin Plumbing again next time I need something. They were prompt getting us a quote & doing the work, the bill was exactly as expected, the work was good quality, communication was great, and they even cleaned up after themselves which was impressive…not everyone does that. I also felt their pricing was very good.
My air conditioner decided to stop running properly. Refilled the Freon and it still would not cool below 80 degrees. Unit was replaced. Unit is working as expected! Very professional!
